My Students

My students are super special and so unique! Each child faces different obstacles in life, but they are all trying their hardest to achieve their goals. On a typical day, my students may receive direct instruction, OT, PT, and Speech. Their little minds are stimulated from the time they walk in the door until they leave. My classroom just makes up a small portion of our school of 950 students. We strive to be contributing members of our school and community!

My Project

My students are working on learning important life skills. In my room, that involves cleaning up after themselves and taking pride in our classroom. We sit and stand on our rug multiple times a day and they need the Shark Navigator Professional Upright Vacuum to keep it clean. Helping keep our environment clean will hopefully reduce allergies and sickness, therefore cutting down on absences.

Students with special needs need to learn skills that will help them thrive in a real world setting.

Giving my students the necessary tools to complete life skills tasks will increase their independence and confidence while also keeping our classroom clean and organized.
