I would like for my classroom to reflect my personality. I want the students to feel like they belong there, and I want them to feel at ease in my classroom. I like to decorate my classroom for different seasons, and my students love to help with this. I want my students to want to come to school and enjoy learning.
I teach in a small, middle school located in a very rural area.
Most kids in our school fall below the national poverty line. I teach self-contained special education with a small class size of eight students. All of my students are learning at a different level from the others in the classroom. I have students in wheelchairs and students with behavior issues. My students are very active in school. They like to help out the faculty, and they love to keep the school clean. They are a fun bunch and deserve materials to further their education.
My Project
Keeping the classroom clean is a priority in my class. We go through supplies at a fast rate because of the traffic in my room. My students are self contained students with special needs and they require extra care to keep them clean and healthy.
The toilet in my bathroom is used by many students throughout the day.
It is a tank less toilet so we need disinfectant supplies that we can put in the toilet bowl. Having these items will keep the toilet clean with every flush.
I am also asking for tissues for the classroom. We go through so many tissues and having extra on hand would help us to keep the students from spreading germs.
We wipe students desk on a daily basis and having the all purpose cleaner would be used for this and we would have enough to last a very long time.
