This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am a Kindergarten special seduction teacher that loves working with little ones. Our students come from many diverse cultures and backgrounds. They love to explore, play and create.

My students are Kindergartners learning in a MID self-contained classroom.

Our school is a neighborhood public school that many students live within walking distance of, and 90% of the population of which I serve have Autism which range from moderate to severe. These students reside in high poverty communities. These students enjoying learning and interacting with their peers and familiar adults.

My Project

My students need disinfecting wipes to clean all of our desks to stay healthy. The hand soap and the spray we use it so they don't spread the germs and Kleenex for runny noses. Having all these essential cleaning supplies will help us stay healthy and germ free. We have to clean our classroom every single day to ensure that we don't spread our germs and doing so is very expensive and I do not have the money to provide my students with all we need.

Having disinfecting wipes, hand soap, kleenex will help keep them germ free, healthy, and attendance will be better so my students only have to worry about their learning and not getting sick.
