My Students

My Students are enrolled in a Culinary Arts Program within the High School. The have a strong interest in improving their Culinary Skills and will spend 2-3 semesters in our Culinary Classroom. With a strong focus on Entrepreneurship and Career Development many of our students will work within the Hospitality Industry.

My Students are fine tuning their Food Production skills, supported by a knowledge of proper nutrition and healthy eating.

We support our classroom education with a Student-Operated Café. Our Café is open every Friday to Faculty and Staff, plus we cater outside events including: Sports banquets, IB banquets, and professional meetings.

My Project

Our Culinary Lab provides our students with real life experiences within the Hospitality Industry. In addition we promote our program through the "Hoot Cafe", a student operated cafe that is open every Friday throughout the school year. Students plan out menus, cost recipes, and provide kitchen production sheets weekly based on the themes they have developed in the beginning of the year.

It is vital to our Culinary Lab that we have a working washing machine.

With over 150 students cooking per day we go through quite a large amount of laundry. Cleaning Rags and Uniforms need to be cleaned properly and sanitized.
