This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart! This is exactly what I want to do as a teacher. I want to be able to open the minds of my students and show them what the world has to offer.
I have the pleasure of teaching dynamic students who are all aspiring to become future teachers.
Our students work hard on a daily basis to learn everything they can about becoming an effective teacher. Being from an area that is poverty-stricken and has a high rate of high school dropouts, they are trying to beat the odds by becoming teachers and one day giving back to their community by providing children with a high-quality education.
My students work tirelessly performing duties, working on projects, serving as teacher assistants, and learning information that will provide them with a foundation for a teaching career.
My Project
As a teacher it is very important to keep a classroom that is neat, clean, and safe for my students. When they walk into my classroom I want them to feel like they are at home. With a new storage unit, my students will have a place to put all of the classroom supplies so that the room will remain tidy. The storage unit will also add a little spice to the room and create a scene that is pleasing to the eye. Students will be able to utilize the storage unit while in class and will always have a place for their supplies.
