My Students

The students are passionate, driven and kind. Our students are eager to be challenged while equally excited to experience success. A group of girls approached me last year and shared that they had noticed one of their peers brings an empty lunch box to school everyday and they were concerned that she might need assistance. They risked exposing a friend in hope of helping her. This is a perfect example of the students we serve at our 7th grade academy.

My Project

The new boards will accommodate technology, give a clean surface for instruction and will provide teachers with an effective tool for learning. The shower boards that are currently being used are hard to erase, leave marks and make the board difficult to project screens on. The boards have to be replaced yearly and are not efficient or effective for a school environment. Donations of each board will make a significant difference in the individual classrooms and hopefully the entire school will benefit as each board is added. Thanks in advance!
