Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from an inner-city school and are from low-income families. Our school has a poverty rate of over 96 percent. Our students work hard and are eager to learn.

Our school serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment.

The opportunity and achievement gaps are apparent among our student population. Teachers are expected to deliver excellent instruction in science, math, English, history, and library skills without the tools needed to teach students. We aim high to achieve success.

My Project

Please consider a donation in any amount to get these HEPA filters for our air purifier.

Clean air shouldn't be a privilege dictated by where you can afford to live but a right to which we are all entitled.

This HEPA filter will be used in the Aero Max 300 that we already have had donated from DonorsChoose. We have run out of the ones we had and are in need of some more to keep our classroom air clean!
