Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a wonderful group of energetic students who are full of life. Every day, they work very hard to reach their goals.
My students come from different backgrounds in a Title I school located in South Central Los Angeles.
More than half of my students are from low-income households. My classroom is a melting pot of different cultures. My students are eager to learn and be creative every day. They are sweet, respectful, responsible, kind, happy, and curious students who love to explore the endless possibilities in our classroom. They are amazing kids who deserve the best education. I feel blessed to teach such an amazing group of students. I feel very proud of my students working very hard and trying their best everyday.
My Project
During this difficult time, my wish is to make distance learning a little better for my students. My project includes learning tools that my preschoolers could use during distance learning that will allow them to stay engaged, keep learning, and stay healthy, safe, and happy.
Please help me to give my students the gift of learning with basic school supplies and cleaning supplies to stay healthy and safe.
