My students walk into my classroom each and every day intrigued to learn. They get excited about learning and make me proud to be their teacher! My goal is to push my students to be the best that they can be, day in and day out.
My fourth graders are comprised of 43 creative, intelligent, and remarkable students.
Many of my students come from bilingual households and receive free or reduced-price lunch at our Title I school.
To help with the many challenges that the students face, my classroom provides a safe and meaningful learning experience for all. They are excited to explore the world of mathematics, science, and social studies. They take much pride in their work and efforts and are always up for a new challenge.
My Project
With winter upon us, colds and germs that make us feel horrible are bound to enter my classroom. My students have had a bit of a rough start to the school year with cases of bad colds, viral infections and asthma issues. Although my students take extra precautions by washing their hands frequently and not touching their face, germs have made their way through our classroom.
I am eager to give my students crisp, clean air to breathe while growing their minds!
I have a handful of students that have had attendance issues due to illnesses or asthma flareups since the beginning of the school year. I truly believe that having an air purifier with a HEPA filter in class will help keep some of these nasty germs and flareups at bay.
I'm hoping the air purifier will provide me with one less thing to think about... sick, absent students needing to be caught up with what has been missed in class!
