Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are outstanding young women and young men. They start going through body changes before they leave our wonderful elementary school. It is a just a fact of life. In order to be successful members of our community, our students need to look and smell their best. I am asking for hair brushes and body wash for our community hygiene pantry. Students are able to take the hygiene items they need out of this community pantry with no questions asked.

Personal appearance is important for pre-teens.

If we can boost our students' self-esteem, they will be more confident interacting with their peers. Our students take pride in the way they look and smell. The personal hygiene products will help our students feel good about themselves. When kids feel good about themselves, they develop healthier relationships with their peers, perform better at school, and are happier. I am asking for necessities like shampoo, body wash, face wash, q tips, lotion and Kleenex in this project. Please consider helping my students get their basic needs met with these basic supplies.
