I truly believe that my students can do anything, as long as they have the right tools and the right motivation.
I teach sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students at a public middle school.
The students in my class are enrolled in a special education program due to their identified learning disabilities. Many of them come from economically disadvantaged households. As such, they face a lot of barriers to school success. My goal is always to ensure that students have every opportunity to show how amazing they are.
My Project
Learning can, and should, be messy sometimes. But in order to be able to do the messy business of learning, we also need the tools to clean up afterwards. These paper towels, broom and dustpan, tissues, disinfecting wipes, Swiffer refills, soap and sponges will allow us to do just that. They will also help us to keep the spread of germs to an absolute minimum, ensuring that students are never missing more school than necessary. A clean space brightens your mood and gets you in the right headspace to work. Help me ensure that my students get to work in a clean space.
