Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have thirty-six culturally diverse students. We are part of a Title I school where everyone gets free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students come from poverty-stricken homes and need more than just an education from me. They need love, acceptance, and support as well.
This group is extra special because they are my first group in a collaborative classroom.
It is an amazing opportunity that I am so thankful to share with these kids and my new co-teacher.
My Project
The beginning of the year is an exciting time for me and my students. It is also a time when kids are back together and germs begin to be spread among kids. I want to keep my classroom clean so I can keep my kids healthy. Healthy learners are at school more and miss less instruction.
First graders are so sweet but they love to share everything, including germs.
Your support of this project would be a huge help in preventing this from happening in our classroom of 36 kids. I am requesting Clorox Wipes, Lysol spray, and Kleenex so we can prevent the spread of germs.
