Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at a Title I school where 100% of the students receive free lunch in a low-income area. Despite the many challenges they face, my students come to school each and every day eager to explore new things. As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, I have students who are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Our building becomes a safe place for them to land.
My students are full of fun, full of affection, and full of curiosity.
Together, we work hard every day on becoming great lifelong scholars. Students in my classroom also strive to be good citizens and good friends. As we continue to press towards this high mark of excellence, we need many resources to facilitate their learning experience.
My Project
I am requesting cleaning supplies such as Clorox wipes, paper towels, and wipes so that my students and I can take care of our classroom. I want to make sure that it is a healthy environment for learning. I will be able to keep the tabletops clean for my students by using the wipes, paper towels and spray.
The materials requested in this project will improve my students' school experience, by making sure that our classroom is always clean.
They will work together to keep our classroom clean.
