Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My wonderful school is located in an urban community with more than 75% coming from low income households. Many of my students come to me speaking little or no English. They are eager to learn and are open to learning new things!

Combining developmentally appropriate practices, hands-on- activities and fun my classroom is a welcoming environment for all!

My students deserve the best and additional resources are needed to make this happen. With support of the school community and you, we can make a difference in the lives of my young students!

My Project

My students need a clean and safe environment to learn in. My school community supports my classroom, however many times additional resources are needed. Having this project funded will allow my room to have the necessities needed for a healthy learning environment!

Clorox wipes, Kleenex, trash bags, and paper towels will support a healthy environment this second half of the year!

Many of my students were out sick and missed school. I feel that wiping down my room throughout the day will allow for the germs to go and stay away! Funding this importnat project will help all of my students feel good!
