Do you remember your days in elementary school? Well, I do, and nothing really stands out for me. At our school, we are creating a new environment where our students are proud to say where they attend. Our students have a sense of school pride and community. My students are very eager to come to school and learn.
Our students attend a Title I school and range from pre-kindergarten through fourth grade.
Many of our students have economic hardships, yet come to school each day and give their all. Many of our students experience things that are out of their control and seek help from me, their school counselor.
My Project
Every year teachers run out of healthy snacks and cleaning supplies to keep our classrooms clean and safe for our students. With flu season in full swing we want to make sure that we have all of the necessary products; magic erasers, Clorox wipes, Clorox disinfecting spray, and healthy snacks to keep our classroom clean and safe.
I see all 322 students every week for character education classes and being able to have a clean and germ free classroom is of the utmost importance.
Also, being able to provide my students who need a healthy snack with one is extremely vital. This will help my students stay focused on their academics and making friends.
