Do you remember your days in elementary school? Well, I do, and nothing really stands out for me. At our school, we are creating a new environment where our students are proud to say where they attend. Our students have a sense of school pride and community. My students are very eager to come to school and learn.
Our students attend a Title I school, where all of the students receive 100% free or reduced-price lunch, and range from Pre-Kindergarten through fourth grade.
Many of our students have economic hardships, yet come to school each day and give their all. Many of our students experience things that are out of their control and seek help from me, their school counselor.
My Project
A classroom is always hard to manage if we don't have the basic necessities. In our classroom, having colored pencils, markers, and cleaning supplies are necessary! I use these supplies in all of my character education classes, which I teach daily. If you have ever been around elementary aged children, you know they go through art supplies quickly! My students are very careful with our art supplies, but sometimes they just need to be replaced.
Having basic supplies for character education classes will help us express ourselves!
These supplies will help us continue to learn and grow throughout the school year.
