My Project

I teach kindergarten students at a Title I school in Florida, where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn! I love their eager hearts ready to learn and help any way needed.

With COVID and its variants, along with many of our students and some staff having asthma, it's essential to keep the air we are breathing as clean as possible.

The Modify Air MA-40 air purifier and filters can purify air up to 1,000 square feet! This air purifying unit removes 99.9% of particulates from the air and has adjustable speeds. It's also quiet, which is essential for the classroom environment! Having an air purifier makes our classroom environment healthy and safe for all. This project is for the filters to go into our air purifier. We need them to be able to run our new air purifier.

Our goal is to have an air purifier in all spaces to keep students and staff safe. We are in-person this school year. Having these air purifier filters for our air purifier will make our students and staff feel more comfortable returning to the building.
