This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My group of students ranges from 6-8 years old. They attend school in a low-income district in Cumberland County.

My students are always excited to learn new things, and they have endless creativity, energy, and imagination.

Watching my students learn as they discover new things inspires me to be the best I can be.

My Project

Air purifiers help eliminate allergens and minimize the spread of germs.

With an air purifier, we can breathe clean air to stay healthy, alert, and ready for learning in our Second-grade classroom.

This will help remove some of the allergens in the air and remove allergens that the students bring into the class with them such as pet dander. Also, when we open the windows during Spring and pollen comes into the classroom causing allergies.

Help provide us with an air purifier and replacement filters so we can feel comfortable in the classroom and ready to learn and grow.
