My Students

I have 21 eager students about to begin their educational journey in Kindergarten. Kindergarten students are busy, hands-on, engaged learners.

It is my goal to provide a safe, quality education during this unprecedented year. I hope to entertain, delight, challenge and laugh with my students in a clean, healthy, safe environment.

My Project

Our classroom sits directly adjacent to the elementary school playground, which typically is a wonderful amenity for the Kindergarteners; however, due to this close proximity and the associated noise level, we are unable to keep the windows open while instruction is happening.

COVID 19 has provided many challenges in reopening the schools, which all teachers have tirelessly worked to overcome.

My classroom is set up and ready for my students, but now I find myself concerned for their health with limited access to fresh, circulating air. Having an air purifier in the classroom will reduce the spread of airborne contaminants. Additionally, to combat the spread, we will be wearing masks, working hard to maintain distance, and regularly washing our hands.
