My Students

My students are full of personality, super creative, and they absolutely love art class and making art! They really love to collaborate, teach each other, and don't mind getting their hands dirty. They're always curious about what I have planned for them in class everyday, and they take each challenge head on.

Although my students love art and have fantastic ideas, they don't always have access to the supplies necessary to make them happen.

Our school is located in South Baton Rouge, a diverse city full of culture and vibrancy, but with that comes a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds and limited opportunities.

Every single child in my class deserves a chance to make great art, and with some help, I'd love the opportunity to give it to them.

My Project

As more variants arise, the need for proper ventiliation grows more and more urgent. While our school follows CDC guidelines by enforcing hand washing, face masks, social distancing, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces, we need more than that. We need effective air circulation and filtration.

This air purifier and filters will serve as one additional layer of protection to reduce the risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19 in the art room.

This air purifier offers HEPA H13 filtration, and will remove 99.9% of particles down to 0.1 microns in size, including viruses.
