This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Band kids are the best kids! My students are some of the most hardworking students on campus! We perform at school, district-wide, state-wide, and national assessments and festivals and we achieve success at the highest level.

I teach my students to be great people before being great musicians.

We serve students from every socio-economic background, and our goal is to get them to succeed at performing and learning high quality repertoire at the highest level possible.

My Project

Having an air purifier in our room will allow us to spend more time playing instruments in our band room. This air cleaner will also allow us to properly clean the air in between classes to ensure a safe learning environment for all the students.

We need to keep our playing environment safe to avoid transmissions of COVID-19 among our students.

This tool will help us keep the band playing!

Your help and consideration will allow our program to keep playing in a safe environment, giving the students the opportunity they deserve to continue playing their instruments and develop their artistry!
