We know that basic human needs like love, food, and shelter need to be met in order to foster a child's cognitive, emotional, social and physical growth.
We live in an urban setting with 100% of our students on free or reduced lunch. Our students come from a variety of different ethnic backgrounds. We believe they can be the kind of children who grow up creators and leaders who impact others. Yet, for many of them, this neighborhood in Cleveland is all they have ever known. This is a reality for our students every day. We want to show them there is so much out there to explore and that they can do it. Our kids’ creativity has no boundaries. They are inquisitive and filled with hope.
We want to change the game. We believe if we change the game, we can change our kids' path. Help us with that.

My Project
Riding bikes is so much fun and would be an absolute blast for the children. We have a large blacktop area that would be perfect. The children would be so excited and motivated to exercise and have fun with their peers. They would also have to develop social skills such as sharing, taking care of class property and following the rules of the road. Driving a bike will also help raise their confidence and develop courage. After riding bikes, we can create healthy meals with our Vitamix Blender!
Children who exercise are healthier in mind and body.
They are also able to focus on their school work and work hard. Children love riding bikes and do not realize the benefits that will last a lifetime.
