Clay Adventure

My Students

We are a small, very rural school district with a large group of tile 1(free or reduced lunch ) students. We also have one of the largest ESL/ELL populations in our county.

Our elementary students are a very special group.

They fundraise every year for cancer research and help out with the Kiwanis K kids program. They are hard-working and kind.

Our high school students have put together a back pack program to help feed students over the weekend. And we have a monthly food bank.

My Project

Hi all, I am asking for a few donations to fun a few missing pieces for our elementary clay program. We recently bought a kiln and a lot of our budget went into the initial funding for clay, glaze, and clay tools. Thankfully our district is very supportive but we need a bit more help.

I need a few more bottles of glaze, and pottery plaster to make a wedging table.

A wedging table is used to reclaim clay helping keep waste down.

The stencils will be used to decorate student art work.
