Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students utilize a variety of worksheets, pictures, and visual supports to help them as they navigate through the learning day. Having the ability to print these items in color will greatly support students as continue to build skills in academics (language/ vocabulary, reading, writing, math, social studies, and science), social functioning, expectations, and appropriate behaviors in the classroom setting. Our printer is out of ink because we use our printer daily.

It's very essential for us to have a printer with colored ink in our classroom.

Having ink will allow me to print out any tasks needed, as well as instructional resources. I use the printer to publish print visuals for our students. I also, use colored ink to create curricular worksheets for concepts that I am currently teaching in my class. My project will provide ink for in-class printing. The printer will allow for on-the-spot differentiation and lesson extensions. This ink will allow lesson flexibility! Printer ink is also needed to create differentiated, engaging, and fun tasks for students to complete. Please help us get creative with ink for our printer. Thank you!

With this ink, we will be able to continue creating visual schedules to help students navigate routines, worksheets that make learning more accessible, center activities and vocabulary cards that utilize real pictures to help understanding and comprehension, and communication supports like picture exchange items or inserts for communication devices. The support possibilities are endless!
