I teach 2nd grade in a wonderfully diverse inner city public school. In my class alone, there are over 10 countries and many languages represented. All of my students come to school each day ready and motivated to learn.
Despite their many differences, my students work hard together, motivating and inspiring each other to do their best.
We are facing many budget cuts and my kids do not always have the supplies and resources they deserve. I do my best to buy, gather and trade for things they need, but there is only so much I can do alone. Together, we can make a true difference working towards their success.
My students need independent book storage to help them stay organized during guided and independent reading.
Imagine being in a classroom without enough space to keep your materials organized.
My students lose their papers, books and other supplies they need to help them during the day because their desks are too small to store all their materials.
I have 30+ students and not enough room to help them stay organized . They have torn, worn out folders that are flimsy and missing covers because they try to fit all their supplies in one spot. These plastic organizers will help them tremendously because they will be able keep their work and books in a neat, sturdy place. They won't be afraid that they will lose all their hard work or turn in a messy, wrinkled paper.
Thank you, in advance. You can really make a difference in the lives of my young students.
