My students need a Cricut starter kit and school supplies in order to be successful throughout the year. My students & I came up with a list of what we felt they needed in order to have a better classroom experience.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students
My students are my life line. They come from socio-economically disadvantaged neighborhoods and a lot of their parents struggle to make ends meet. As their teacher I try picking up where their parents can not. Although this is a hard task, I feel that my students deserve the best.
My students are very creative in their own individual ways but because of the lack of tools in and outside of the classroom they are not fully able to express their creativity.
They have express to me their need for more hands on activities during their class time and I promised that I will do everything in my power to ensure they receive what they deserve.
My Project
The items requested are for the success of my students throughout the school year. I try making my students experience in the class more engaging but we ran out of a lot of materials early in the year, which kept a lot of our projects on hold.Having conversations with my students allowed me to see what they felt they needed and were not able to get from home.
My students wanted to be able to create different graphics and art work that went along with the lessons and with these materials they will now be able to.
These items will benefit my students on a daily basis. These tools allow my students the opportunity to be successful in the class without the worries of having to afford supplies.
My students need notebooks so that they can create interactive notebooks where they can do reading logs and daily warm ups. The Cricut will be used by students to create classroom projects. This Cricut will allow for more classroom instruction by cutting down the time needed for students to create projects. Pencils and pens will utilized for daily writing by students. Expo markers will allow my students to be more creative with different assignments, working collaboratively with each other coming up with designs that aligns with the material being taught. My goal is to set my students up for success so that their only focus is to grow through learning. These requested materials provides my students the opportunity to do this.
