Many of our students come to school hungry, tired, and carrying in many stresses that kids shouldn't have. Our job as teachers is to create a safe place for students to feel welcomed, loved, and understood. That is exactly what my classroom represents.
My students are kind, talented, caring, compassionate, determined, motivated, excited, smart, innovative, creative, respectful, and loving.
And these are just a few of their attributes. These are seriously the coolest kids around!
My Project
My new classroom is in a public school in the Harrisburg area. Many of our students do not have access to technology at home. These kiddos come to school to not only learn math and reading but also to learn how to succeed. Our job as teachers, is to set students up for success. That is not possible without introducing them to technology.
Using tablets in the educational setting brings the world into the classroom.
Utilizing technology is not only a fun tool for learning but it is also an important skill for their future.
