My students need an iPad. Seesaw is an app that we use school-wide. Students can post their work on the app and parents can see what their children are learning.

My Students

We are a free and reduced lunch school, but that does not stop the students from coming to school with smiles on their faces. My students come from different backgrounds, but in my classroom, we are one family.

The students in my classroom make me want to come to work each day.

They remind me why I became a teacher and inspire me each day. They remind me that teaching in the classroom is where I belong. Working with them each day reaffirms my choice to become a teacher.

My Project

I am requesting an iPad for my classroom. Technology is a major part of everyday learning. A school-wide app we use is Seesaw. It allows students to take pictures or a recording of things they are doing and learning in school. They post it onto their Seesaw account and parents can instantly see what their children are doing in the classroom. It's a great bridge between home and school.

"Technology has forever changed the world we live in." There are so many other apps and websites from which students can learn, such as Prodigy, Ten Marks, and our school curriculum online.

Having this extra bit of technology will give my students another avenue of learning, as well as a platform to share their work and be proud of it.
