This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Many of my kids come from low-income housing. My school is a Title I school with limited resources and supplies. Despite their challenges, my kids love learning, and they love being at school.
I have a classroom filled with little kids who are eager to learn but do not always have the resources to help them reach their full potential.
I want to encourage them to learn and grow throughout the school year.
My Project
Many of my students' guardians are not always able to afford classroom supplies. In an attempt to rectify this problem, I have always purchased supplies for my students and for the classroom. I am always more than willing to provide my students with the resources they need in order for them to be successful.
Bulletin board papers might not seem like a big deal but they have a huge impact on our classroom.
These items will allow me to create unique bulletin boards within our classroom and in our school hallway.
