This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every day my students walk into our classroom full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I teach at a Title I school in Los Angeles, California where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school, because they want to learn all they can, so they can be successful one day.

My Project

We are requesting multi color ink cartridges for our printer. We use the color ink to print out learning centers in color. It is a luxury to be able to print in color. We use the printer and ink on a daily basis. We print lots of learning centers for math and reading. Our ink is constantly running out. These extra large ink cartridges will help us print more. The markers will be used for posters. Visuals help students remember and gives students something they can refer back to. We look forward to getting this project funded and receiving these materials!
