My Students
Students that attend my school come from many different backgrounds. Some have lots of experiences to help them become successful, while others come from a much different background.
The students that walk through my classroom door are part of many different communities and their background is a story to tell and many of the children come from low income families.
Many of the children speak another language other than English. The students that I work with need many opportunities to show what they know and what they can become in the future. These students have a lot of drive and desire to learn as much as they can but in order to do that I need your help!
My Project
Having the right supplies available to students is very important for their continued success in school. Many of the students that come to my school have a hard time purchasing school supplies. I want any child to walk into my room and not worry that they didn't have the right supplies for their desk. I am requesting clipboards, pencils, spiral notebooks, glue sticks, folders, etc. These materials will help all children feel like they don't stick out because their family doesn't have the money to purchase school supplies. This will help them come in and be ready to be successful in their learning.
