Students at my school are exceptionally hard workers. Most students at my school come from middle class families, but we have about 30% of students who do not have enough supplies to even get through the school day.
My students are kind and humble, especially in a world that can deliver some dark circumstances.
They need some class materials to grab their attention in order to be engaged in school.
Our middle school encourages collaborative learning and strong communication amongst students and their peers. We are all about team work here!
My Project
These supplies are needed for my students to work well in groups. Students need a lot of help in communication in 6th grade, which is why I sit my students in groups. With these supplies, collaborative learning can increase in the class.
Students often struggle getting work done because they run out of paper or don't know where to find pencils.
Another purpose in this project is to take out distractions for students. Instead of them roaming around the room looking for materials. They have everything sitting right in front of them in the caddies. With the supplies listed, students will have quick and easy access to class materials. Students also learn how to share and work together with the caddies.
