Ms. S. from MA is requesting art supplies through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.

Classroom Supplies

My students need these materials so that we can use them as we use inquiry to discover science! The markers are for going through and labeling different ecosystems, parts of the body, among other science topics!

My Students

My 7th grade science class is a place for exploration and discovery. The quote, "Everyone hopes to meet their favorite scientist some day, but I teach mine," is a prime example of how enthusiastic my students (scientists) are about learning as they enter my classroom!

All of my students come from different walks of life but during science, we are all exploring together!

My classroom has been created to foster community and lifelong learning for all students. Students are challenged to work together towards a common goal to complete the scientific method.

My Project

These are basic school supplies that we use daily in science class. Markers are used to color in different parts of the body and differentiate between cell structures. The sticky notes are used to write down questions that students have during instruction. Those sticky notes are made into a slideshow with answers. Index cards are used as exit tickets or do nows. We use construction paper during alternative assessments which include projects and building models. Permanent markers are used to label different parts of assignments and create organization within their assignments. We are ready for more supplies as we use them daily and do not waste any material! Your donation is greatly appreciated!

These school supplies are used daily in class.

These create a very organized classroom, as students are able to visualize scientific processes more clearly. The students and I would be very thankful for you donation to our classroom. Organization and visualization are very important for success!
