Classroom Supplies to Maintain Focus

My students need these soft seats for sensory issues when sitting on the rug. They need a new pencil sharpener as our current one does not work, and I can not order a new one until June.

My Students

My students are in grade 2 and 3. They have with a development delay or communication disability. Our classroom is a substantially separate program, where my students receive the same curriculum as their peers; but at a modified rate. They enjoy learning, and love to find out new things and explore new places through books.

Our district is considered high needs and very diverse with more than 45% of our students on free or reduced price lunch.

The budget does not allow for the "extra things" my students could use to boost their knowledge.

My Project

My students have a hard time sitting on the rug, many find it uncomfortable. These soft seats would allow them a comfy place to sit when conducting whole class lessons. It would also help them have a "permanent" seat on the rug.

The craft organizer, would clean up our current art space.

It is not organized, and the students can not access it independently. Creating a space that is neat, would allow them easier access; while also allowing them to be more independent.

Our current pencil sharpener is broken, from being 6 years old. A new one would help my students have quality pencils to write with.
