Help me give my students supplies and new classroom decorations to make our learning community more engaging and a cool space to learn together with the necessary supplies and materials we need.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are very high energy and love to play and have fun while learning too. As a community of learners, they are very adamant about supporting one another and working together as a team. Our classroom college name is Cornell University; we take learning very seriously in our class and we often discuss our plans for future education. The students I serve all have high aspirations and I believe that all of them will live up to their fullest potential in life because they have what it takes to do so. It is my hopes to be able to provide them with everything they need to thrive and remove any barriers preventing them from learning.
My Project
This is my first year teaching and I din't know going into this year that keeping supplies stocked in the classroom would become so challenging.
I quickly learned how critical it would be to stay on top of either requesting or purchasing the necessary supplies myself, and as teacher we don't always have the time to do so.
In order to alleviate that I am requesting several materials that will help keep my classroom organized and functioning efficiently.
My students deserve for supplies to be readily available to them in order for them to have what they need to be successful. When they have what they need to learn, I can teach them what they need to know.
