My Students

Many of my students are from low income or working class families so they don't have many 'extras'. They are very motivated learners and really enjoy and learn from anything new. They love to work in groups and present what they have learned to the class. They really want to be in school to learn and to be with their friends. They enjoy creating things and researching things in class that help them to learn. I hope to help them to use their minds, creativity, and drive to help them reach for the stars.

My Project

My students will benefit from the privacy boards by being able to take tests in their own little cubicle. They wont have to worry about anyone else looking at their paper. We have privacy boards now that were handed down from a retired teacher. They are in pretty bad shape and we need them replaced.

My students create many projects and need supplies.

We will use the Post-It chart paper for brainstorming in class together and the students can use it to present their information to the other students. Glue sticks will be used for the many projects that we do in our interactive notebooks.
