My students need basic school supplies for Spanish class, such as glue sticks, colored pencils, scissors, dry erase markers and erasers, and tissues for when they are getting sick.
My students come come to class, daily, eager to learn; however, at times they lack basic school supplies, needed for class, and will often ask for colored pencils, glue sticks, dry erase markers, scissors, etc. of which I spend my own money at the start of the school year and within weeks, all supplies are gone.
Many of my students are gifted, and in order to express their creativity, they use an interactive notebook.
As a teacher, I often lack the basic essentials I need for the classroom, such as EXPO markers, whiteboard cleaner and erasers, tissues, and organizational items for my students and myself.
My Project
My students need basic school supplies for Spanish class, such as glue sticks, colored pencils, and scissors for their interactive notebooks for when they are not prepared for class or when they do not have the required supplies. For assessments, students need dry erase markers markers to mark the correct answer on their laminated bubble sheets, and erasers to erase their bubble sheets. When students are getting sick, they need tissues.
To express creativity and enhance the learning of Spanish, my students use interactive notebooks in class daily.
Students make foldables, coloring, cutting, and gluing into their interactive notebooks. They also reflect on their learning, gluing in their assessments and making corrections.
