This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are walk into my classroom excited and ready to learn everyday.
I ask them everyday , "Who is the best kindergarten class in the whole world?" and they reply, "We are!"
They believe that they can achieve anything they put their minds to!
My school is a Title one school in a low achieving area of the city. These students need the support of the community to fully achieve their dreams. I know they can go far with your help!
My Project
My students need basic supplies to complete everyday learning activities.
They will be able to use the writing paper and crayons to create a writers workshop.
They will use the pencil grip to improve their writing ability. The globe will be used as a writing prompt for them to imagine places around the world they would like to visit and write about them.
My students already see themselves as amazing writers and illustrators.
We will use these materials to aide us in the process of becoming life-long writers. As the teacher, I'm excited to begin a Writer's Workshop in the kindergarten.
