Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is full of hands-on interactive learning. I believe that having students work together is the best way for them to learn.
My students are from lower income families, and most of the school receives free or reduced price breakfast and lunch.
Each one of my students is excited about school every morning. They have a strong desire for learning and work hard to be the best they can be.
My Project
My students need 30 write and wipe boards, ten magnetic frames, and reusable write and wipe pockets for our reading and math centers, as well as for daily instruction. The whiteboards will be used many times inside my classroom. The whiteboards are a great way to keep the students interactive during whole group instruction. They are a great formative assessment tool to see if my students are understanding the lesson being taught.
The write and wipe pockets will be used for my reading and math centers. This will allow my students to record their work without wasting paper, a precious resource in my classroom. The ten frames will be used for math instruction and math centers. This will give students a fun way to explore the number 10 and the many ways to create it.
The products I am asking for will help me continue to run the classroom in the interactive hands-on way my students love so much.
I know these products will help my students become successful inside my classroom and during the many years of school they have ahead of them.
