Help me give my students all of my students some basic supplies that our school will not provide for. We want to make decorative mandalas. The sharpeners, markers, colored pencils and crayons will help astronomically. Thank you!
Carl Sagan wrote, “The beauty of a living thing is not the atoms that go into it, but the way those atoms are put together.” Help the future physicists, nuclear engineers, chemists, forensic scientists, and astronomers in our classroom discover the wonders of the atomic world!
Nonetheless, they have big dreams!
They dream of learning English, helping their families, and reaching their full potential. With your help, we can acquire the tools and skills to reach those goals. Many of the most in-demand 21st-century jobs are in the physical sciences. My students need access to the scientific knowledge and experiences that will enable them to take AP math classes in high school, be accepted into top universities, and contribute to the scientific discoveries of the future.
We would love to create our own mandalas that have a meaning for our heritage to create an equity within our building, and blending history with math is always super COOL! There is always a story there (as we all know). Let my students appreciate that by designing, coloring, decorating, and having these resources for the rest of the school year. All my classes, Algebra 2, PreCalc, and AP Calc will have the opportunity to utilize all of these resources for this year and year to come. Thank everyone who follow DonorsChoose and my students and I appreciate all you can do. My pocketbook is open, but I only have so much. Thanks again.
