This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are dedicated learners. These courageous students work hard to attain their academic goals on a daily basis. Although most of my students face financial difficulties, they never cease to demonstrate their courage and eagerness to learn.
On the first day of school, my students arrive eager to learn and grow despite the obstacles they may face.
My students are intuitive and creative and deserve the education and materials that will help move them towards their goals. They love technology, group sports during recess, and art projects.
My Project
These basic supplies will be used daily. During our writing instruction time, my students use pens and
Wite-Out Correction Tape to make their writing projects neat and ready for display.
My students are motivated when they can see the finished product.
We also use colored pencils, markers, and chart paper daily during each lesson. With these materials, we create engaging and interactive anchor charts that students use as a reference throughout the day.
During math, we use dry erase markers and white boards which allows students to stay engaged during the lesson while we work through problems together. Students are also able to share their work and problem solving strategies visually.
