Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Art is a powerful means of expression and creativity, and I am passionate about incorporating it into our classroom. Unfortunately, my students currently do not have access to a dedicated art class or teacher.

Recognizing the immense value that art brings to their overall development, I am seeking your support to acquire essential art supplies for our classroom.

These materials will not only serve as a gateway for self-expression but will also open doors to diverse forms of learning and critical thinking.

I am also working to create a library that caters to the unique cultural and linguistic backgrounds of my students. In our wonderfully diverse learning community, many of my students' first language is not English, making the establishment of a comprehensive library an essential catalyst for fostering a love of reading. The goal is to provide a welcoming environment where each student, can discover the joy of reading and recognize the transformative power that literacy holds.

In addition to the library I am requesting essential classroom supplies such as whiteboard erases, laminating sheets, and a classroom printer. With your generous support, we can eliminate the financial burden currently placed on my personal resources for color printing, ensuring that each student has access to visually engaging and thoughtfully crafted assignments and activities.
