"There is a place for everything, and everything has its place." We've all heard that once or twice before! With new storage solutions, our classroom is sure to run like a fine-tuned machine.
I consider myself fortunate to spend my days with such a great group of nine year olds!
These children are bright, hard workers, and are always trying to go the extra mile. They take pride in their work and are highly motivated to please those around them.
Our school is dynamic. Everywhere you look, there is another smiling face greeting you! We are always changing and always trying to put our students first. Their needs are the most important part of the day here at school!
My Project
Have you ever walked into a classroom and wondered how anyone could function in the disarray? That's how my classroom feels at times. We have collaborative seating arrangements and it's left my room looking similar to the remains of an exploded bomb! I love the learning that takes place, but cannot function in the clutter and scattering of the children's belongings. Because this is an accelerated classroom, our time is more heavily focused on learning instead of organizing along the way. New storage containers and desk organizers will help cease ongoing conundrum.
This project is important to myself and my students because we're looking to organize our classroom so we're more self-sufficient.
My students are welcomed into anything I have in the classroom because, after all, this is their learning environment! I would enjoy seeing my children walk into an organized, inspiring classroom every morning. I can't think of a better way to spend my day!
