This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach a wonderful group of 10th and 11th graders who come to school daily ready to learn. They are enthusiastic learners who are eager to gain as much enrichment as they possibly can. My students are given the incentive to thrive in their learning by competing with their peers in groups and individually.
All of my students attend a Title I school and all receive free lunch.
Even though they face many challenges such as high poverty, unemployment, inadequate healthcare, etc., they still remain ever tenacious in meeting and exceeding the standards. I am overjoyed in not only seeing my students learn something new but have fun while learning something new as well.
My Project
Students unwind and can zero in on the current work when they are in a Covid-free setting. Perhaps the best way to slow the rapid proliferation of today's most contagious and dangerous virus is to keep the climate clean and sanitized. It is urgent to protect students and staff during these rises in cases. Halting the spread of infections like COVID-19 requires having the right supplies readily in stock. It is basic to load up on personal protective equipment (PPE) to guarantee that our students have a real sense of reassurance during this time.

Between class times, we clean our work areas with sanitizer wipes. My students will clean up prior to entering class and on a case by case basis during class. The disposable masks will be accessible to students consistently, and the gloves will help us protect us while cleaning our classroom.
