My students need a classroom rug that will ensure they have their own individual sitting space and that can be utilized during lessons and learning.

My Students

My students are very active learners. They come from a large variety of social economic backgrounds. Our school is a Title I school with a large population of Native American students and a growing Burmese population.

Teaching Kindergarten students, I know that they need materials in which they will be actively engaged throughout the day.

This is my second year at my school and I have realized that I need additional materials in my classroom to help students be successful learners.

My Project

Our classroom is lacking a classroom rug, which will help to make students feel at home and will give our room a sense of structure and stability. The classroom rug will be placed in the front of the room and will be used for morning meetings, and to discuss literacy and math lessons as well as sharing with others. The rug will give students their own individual space while we come together as a class to learn.

By donating to our project, you will not only help students focus on their learning but give them a space to collaborate and learn together.
