Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Some of my students don't enjoy books as much as I would like to see. This could be the year that they fall in love with books and become great readers.
My students are a very dynamic group of second graders.
Some students love reading, whereas others love math. My school is AMAZING! It is full of wonderful students and caring teachers and administrators who want whats best for each student in the school.
My Project
My students will enjoy using the rug and bean bag chairs everyday. The rug will be used while I am teaching as a whole group near the Whiteboard. It will also be used as a place for students to enjoy reading an independent book. The beanbag chairs will be used during independent reading time. It will allow students to move a comfortable seat around the room and enjoy a good book.
Donations to this project will make my classroom a positive and comfortable learning environment.
My students will love the beanbag chairs to enjoy reading their books during independent reading time. The carpet will be a nice addition that is bright and cheerful to the classroom. All of these items will make my classroom environment bright and cheerful to maximize my students learning and achievements.
