My students need a new learning rug, it'll be an essential part of the classroom because of their various disabilities, I will teach using many different methods and modes on entry point.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are fun, creative, energized, compassionate and extremely eager to learn new things. My students come from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds. My students are focusing their time in school on learning new things this year and that looks different for every student in my class. They love coming to school and seeing their friends and teachers. For some, it's even an escape for a few hours providing them with stimulating activities and a safe place.
I've spent a lot of my own money to provide everyday materials for them and setting up the classroom but now we need the bigger stuff and the schools budget is limited.

My Project
This upcoming school year I'm in a new school, and in my new classroom there is a really old, stained dirty rug. My students with disabilities require many places around the classroom to access their learning.
We will be using the rug when engaging in interactive lessons, on the Smart board or watching videos.
We will also be using the rug when playing educational games together, and independent reading!
I want to create a wonderful space for my students and give them the option of choosing to sit on the rug when they get get antsy after sitting on the desk for such a long time. I know with your assistance my students will be able to access their education in a comfortable space.
