My students need a rug for our classroom. They enjoy using every inch of the classroom as their workspace, but they would be more comfy on the floor with a rug.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I want the students to view the entire classroom as their learning lab and use every inch of the space for learning. Last year, the kids shared the vision, but the floor is hard without a rug.

I teach a group of hard working, intelligent, creative, and adventurous students; they're great!

The students enjoy physical movement and relocation during instructional time. They get tired of simply sitting behind their desks. Unfortunately, we do not have a classroom rug, so there aren't too many seating options for the kiddies. They desire to sit on the floor, but sadly return to their desks after a short while because the tile floor is hard without the cushioning of a rug.

My Project

With a classroom rug, the students will have a space for reading, completing assignments, and working together. I want the classroom to be as comfortable as possible so that the students will work to their highest potential. Many of my students live in homes that don't provide the comfort that a child deserves. This should not be the issue in a classroom.

Please make a donation so that my students can have a rug in our classroom.

A rug will create a comfortable learning space for the students away from their desks. We want the children to learn and perform well, let's help them do it comfortably.
