My Students

Help us focus! My First Graders have spent the first half of the year without a classroom carpet. We would love to have a carpet to meet as a class and learn more effectively!

My First Graders are a wonderful group of students!

They are caring, sweet, and very interested in learning. They have dealt with a lot this school year in transitioning from one classroom to the next. They have also had to learn how to work and get along in very close quarters for almost four months.

My Project

My students need a classroom rug to sit on. Our school has been faced with overcrowding issues this past school year. these First Graders have spent the first half of the year in a tiny resource room. We have since moved into a normal sized classroom, but we do not have a classroom carpet. The district no longer provides classroom rugs and my students currently sit on the tile floor for every lesson. It makes it hard for the students to stay in one spot and focus on what we are learning.

I would love make my classroom more inviting.

A classroom carpet will give the children a comfortable place to meet and learn. The children keep asking when we will have a rug! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
