Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project will focus on providing students with essential needs during the day in the form of snacks, crafts, and books. Students often complain of mid-day hunger, to address this I believe students deserve a midday treat to keep them going and focus while in class, a great incentive to improve student achievement as well.

Students deserve the best from their school and providing additional resources that remind them to keep going even when things get hard is the essential focus of my book selection.

This book will be used by students to reflect on that fact that they can do hard things and achieve whatever they put their mind to. Additional materials are also requested to provide students with craft supplies.
